I Hate Blogging...

Ok, well that's not exactly true. I simply hate the term 'blog', it really has become the catchphrase of the year...and catchphrases in general are annoying. So, why the sheery irony of creating a Blog page of my own? Simple...I am WAY too lazy to HTML-ify my own section of the web...and this is quick and easy to use.

I can see how having your own spot online to post one's thoughts and ideas can be appealing....but when major corporations, brands, celebs start their own blogs...it takes away the 'common man' feel to the whole experience. I mean does Electronic Arts really need a Blog to allow users to follow up on their latest games? Do websites like CNN.com or Newsweek really need a Blog section on their site? Are these not major corporations with millions of dollars and programmers who make spiffy looking websites for them to use? Why use a Blog?

I guess that's my main gripe with the whole thing :)
